The variety of discussions at the occasion of the drinktec 2009 in Munich has clearly shown:
It seems as if the market has really waited for an economical steel-solution in the segment of non-returnable KEGs. Hundreds of interested prospective customers, from big brewery groups to medium-sized enterprises and micro breweries, were greatly taken by our non-returnable KEG in steel. The new state of the art and fully automated production plant at our site in Neunkirchen/ Siegerland is currently run in and enables us to process the first orders in the weeks to come.

SCHÄFER Container Systems adds non-returnable KEGs in steel to its product range

The “Non-returnable keg as a supplementary container in the export business” was the headline of an article published recently in the 20/2009 edition of the magazine “Brauwelt”.

As one of the leading manufacturers of stainless steel reusable beverage containers, we have been keeping a close eye on market developments in recent years and have decided to add the segment “non-returnable KEGs” to our wide, solution-oriented product range.

In record time, the “30 l non-returnable KEG” in steel, available with different fitting types, is the first product to be launched onto the market.

In comparison to the plastic containers preferred by our competitors, the “30 l non-returnable KEG“ from SCHÄFER Container Systems has a range of unique features, such as its the greater strength through the use of a steel container, its ability to be filled on breweries’ existing filling lines and its use with conventional dispensing equipment that is already available on the market.

The launch takes place at the beginning of September: at the 2009 drinktec (14.-19.9.2009, hall A1, stand 502) in Munich, the “30 l non-returnable KEG” from SCHÄFER Container Systems will be presented to the public for the first time. In addition to this, the new, state-of-the-art production line at the plant in Neunkirchen /Siegerland will be inaugurated to ensure sufficient supplies of the new non-returnable KEGs are immediately available.  .
